Should I Use the Name of an Admissions Officer in a College Essay?

Should I Use the Name of an Admissions Officer in a College Essay? When I was in college and looking for an answer to this question, I ran into many writers who were confused by this question. They felt that it was not their place to give a statement as to whether or not they should use the name of an admissions officer in a college essay. It seems strange to me that you would want to use the name of someone who does not work with you on a daily basis. So, it makes sense to you that it is your right to use the name of the person you are writing about. However, I do know one person who writes essays all the time and she also uses the name of the admission officer in college essays. She explains to her students this important fact. And she explains why she feels this is her right to do so.Here is a close up of what she said when I talked to her. She said, 'If you write your essay by the name of a person, it will seem too casual. When the reader reads your essay, they will be thinking abo ut this person, and it will seem forced and sloppy.' So, she is saying that she does feel like it is a kind of dishonesty to have this sort of direct reference in your essay. It is up to you whether or not you choose to write in the form of a personal story or use this form of reference in the form of a factual statement. If you are writing about something that is relevant to you personally then this is fine. However, if you are writing an essay for your college, for your professional application essay or even for an undergraduate essay then you should avoid using this direct reference. It is best to tell the reader who the admissions officer is in the first paragraph of your essay. In a college admissions essay, it is understandable that you would want to write in the form of a personal story. However, that does not mean that you need to use the name of someone who does not work with you every day.For some writers, the name of the admissions officer in the first paragraph is the name of a friend of theirs who has been the admissions officer. You could also use that situation in the first paragraph to describe the student. However, it should be a matter of taste and not a matter of making a point that your academic knowledge or experiences are relevant to your writing. To summarize, should I use the name of an admissions officer in a college essay? The answer is a resounding yes. I would suggest that you use this reference if you write professionally.
